		<description>Thanks Fredric!  I&#039;ve been lending since 2007 and have just found Team Virginia.

As we approach the holiday season, giving thanks for our warm homes, full plates and comfortable lives, I encourage everyone to shift traditional giving trends and give through Kiva or your charity of choice.  I know of no one whose bottom line is not closer to the top these days, reflecting current global trends; we all need to give more however we are able during times when it hurts the most to do so in order help those who are worse off than we are; giving to make a difference in the lives of hard working people and groups, helping to lift them out of their desperate circumstances, helping parents educate their children, helping to bring food and clean water to areas where there is none and helping to break the debilitating chain of poverty is a reward worth sharing with others.
